Born in South Korea, raised in upstate New York, and long-time Brooklyn resident, I have a unique perspective on culture and how it relates to identity. I came up in the NYC indie film & art scene which has informed my nuanced & budget conscious approach to design.

Working closely with my producers, directors, & actors my process is collaborative. I aim to dress my actors in a manner that suits both their specific character and the overall narrative being set forth by the director and my fellow department heads. I enjoy the myriad of unexpected challenges that filmmaking brings into my life. Everyday is a new problem to solve, person to dress, and world to explore.
